Leadership Team

Al has spent the past 30 years focused on the defense of engineering and architectural design firms, environmental companies, marine, aircraft and trucking manufacturers and a variety of other product manufacturers in defect, accident and environmental/toxic tort litigation. As a part of his defense work, he spent a significant amount of time learning the operations of his clients’ businesses.

His expertise relates to the remediation of environmental contamination related to hydrocarbon, petroleum-related and other chemical contamination throughout the United States, as well as engineering design flaws that led or contributed to same. 

He is a member of various professional associations, including the American Trucking Association Safety Management Counsel, Defense Research Institute, Maritime Law Association, PADI Diving Society, Philadelphia Ports Society and the American, Pennsylvania and New York Bar Associations. and he is licensed to practice in most courts of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and the States of New York and New Jersey. He holds a JD from Georgetown University Law Center, and a BA in History and BS in Psychology from Emory University. 

Brock, a veteran of the United States Air Force with over 20 years of leadership experience, brings over a decade of project, operations and business management in the oil and gas, alternative energy, agri-business and food and beverage industries. 

Most recently, he led an industrial services business unit for EnerMech Mechanical Services, a global industrial and oilfield services firm. EnerMech’s equity partners, Lime Rock Partners, exited the business in December 2018 as part of a $560MM transaction with The Carlyle Group.

Brock has led construction and commissioning activities across the Western Hemisphere from Brazil to the North Slope of Alaska. He has planned, developed, grown and managed businesses in the private and public sectors.
